Student Government sponsors free brunch for students

The Mat-Su College Student Government Council (SGC) is sponsoring three free Student Brunch events this semester.

Students who show up to the Mat-Su College cafeteria between 10 AM to 2 PM on October 27 or November 17 get a free brunch worth $5. Students must show their WolfCards. The offer is limited to the first 100 students each time.

SGC reports that 63 students took up the offer of a free brunch on September 22, the first of the free brunch mornings.

The Mat-Su College wellness initiative known as Journey has announced two new semester-long offerings available to all Mat-Su College students, staff, and faculty: * Yoga. Free yoga classes every Tuesday morning at 8:30 AM in FSM 202. The classes run until Thanksgiving. * Ice Skating. $3 ice skating

Students hold dance extravaganza

In the quiet between finals and graduation, a handful of Mat-Su College students gave us a bit of excitement. On May 5th they performed a dance extravaganza at the Glenn Massay Theater. The event was free, open to the public, and well attended. The dancers came in two groups.
