Student dance a success
On November 20th, Student Government Council (SGC) organized a dance for all college students and their guests. Held in the cafeteria from 4-8 PM, the dance drew about 40 people.
Billed as a masquerade, students arrived with masks or picked up free ones at the door.
To prepare for the dance, Student Government Council hosted a mask-making event a few days before the dance. Similarly, the Dance Club held a special meeting to teach several dances (e.g., the tango) that could then be performed at the dance.
In addition to dancing, the event featured karaoke, free food, and plenty of chances to socialize.
Watch for another dance in the spring semester! If you want to help organize it, or have ideas, please get in touch with Student Government!
